Got this for my Mom who loves to cook, but is always coming dangerously close to burning herself. These are a safer and more fun way to grab things out of the oven than your standard kitchen rag which can easily slip. Would be nice if they had more options for characters, and they are smaller than I thought they would be (a perfect fit to your hand though..).

These oven mitts are the best ever! I have two of the bright orange dogs. They are on my countertop many days while I am cooking and used often. I have had these mitts for several years now and find them functional and easy to clean.
Whoever designed these had a great idea. I'm glad that I bought two. I do have very small hands however so they work well in the kitchen for my purposes.

The designs are *cute*, but I have to wonder whether they are useful. The "mitts" are just the hand part - they don't extend past the palm (unless you have *really* *tiny* hands), so I'd be reluctant to stick them in an oven. I got these to give as a gift, tho, so I haven't used them in the manner intended.
