The lamp is absolutely adorable! I only wish it were a little bigger. My friend was having a baby boy and decided to decorate the nursery with Robots. Needless to say no one could find ANYTHING with robots! This lamp couldn't be any more perfect for her robot room.

Adorable and Handcrafted Quality

This lamp is pricey, but we couldn't find anything out there that even came close to looking as unique and whimsical as this particular robot lamp so we ordered it. It arrived in a plain brown box wrapped in plastic and packing paper but without branded packaging or any form of instructions, which I found strange. The only way we knew what type of bulb to use was because it is listed in the item description of this website. We were very pleased with the product's handcrafted quality and adorable mid-century retro appearance. The lamp works great, provides plenty of light for such a small bulb, and will definitely provide a unique piece to your child's room. My only grip might be that the robot has no moving parts – I immediately found myself trying to rotate its arms which are permanently attached to its sides. The designers could of made it a bit more interactive, maybe making one of the arms rotate to turn the light on/off or made some of the robot's body parts light up but they don't, this robot is solid wood and doesn't budge...
