I've been concerned about contamination from poultry. I use a lot of onions and garlic. Wooden cutting boars can absorab odors. This is a sleek and stylish solution that fits in any kitchen's decor and is just the right size. It replaces three wooden cutting boards and frees up cabinet space. Mine is right by the sink and I use it at least once a day. The only drawback is that product information doesn't mention if it is dishwasher safe so I suds it off in the sink instead. It's for that lone reason I've given it 4 stars -- in all other respects it deserve 5 stars. I'm planning on buying several for Christmas gifts. It is the perfect any-time gift for anyone who cooks -- from basic to all-out gourmet.

I like the compactness of all of them being in 1 place in an attractive container; I like the separateness of the use; we have these old ones that are stained and been cross used for years; I'm going to pitch some of them. I like to have really large cutting boards as well so maybe the company can make a large size to complement this one. You guys carry such great products.

I needed new cutting boards for meats, veggies, and cooked items that were easy to use and keep on the counter top, clear on their use for All people in the kitchen, and didn't fall over when one board is removed. The boards are a bit small for real "carving". For breads, I still like a bamboo board because it can be used to serve as well. I have used these new cutting boards for about three weeks now. It is so nice that the colors clearly indicate their use, no trying to catch boards as they fall when I am trying to prepare a meal, and just pop in the dishwasher!

I really like this product. So perfect to stow on the counter and keep things sanitary. I like that it is open on the bottom to allow potential water/crumbs drip through. I do wish the surface was "gritty," textured, but I'm sure that will start to happen naturally as I start to use it and blade knifes start to rough up the surface to allow it to better "catch" the food and grab hold to the counter.

Usually I cook recipes containing both meat or fish and vegetables + cooked ingredients. I always end-up washing the cutting board in-between uses. In addition, I never know where to store the board (s) so that it's practical to use but is not in plain view as I have an open kitchen. This item definitely solves all those issues, and I just put all boards in the dishwasher when I'm done. It's great!
