This is a Christmas gift for by teen son. So I only checked it out without using it. I did think the handle would be fabric covered but it's hard plastic. No matter he will still love it.

Service & Delivery comments:

When this first arrived I refused it to return to sender.Due to the fact that one end of the box was torn all over and taped over, and on the other end the umbrella was sticking out of the box about 2#. When they got it back I didn't just get the normal emails. A person not only contacted me directly but said she would check it out personally. And she did, she went to the old package and helped fashion packing that worked well. In a timely manner as well. Great customer service you don't see much of anymore.

Nice product, but I'd be careful taking it to a school or some public events. Closed and in it's nylon sheath, it is easily mistaken for a real sword

I got this for my sister, who is 24. She is quirky, and likes ninjas, but is now working professionally full time. So I'm working on ways to help her integrate offbeat style into her wardrobe without it being super obvious. This is a perfect fit, because if the umbrella is out of the case it looks just like a normal umbrella--even the ninja handle isn't that noticeable unless you are up close. But, she will know it is actually a ninja umbrella :) The carrying bag is surprisingly nice and I think will hold up well. Also, the umbrella expands automatically, which I don't think was mentioned in the description.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was fast, and it was well protected in the package. However, the box was HUGE and therefore a lot of unnecessary packaging.
