I absolutely love this bag! It is smaller in person than I expected. But, that's totally my fault! It's an actual newspaper, so it is just as wide as one.

Bag is great for running errands - toting lists, books to the library, picking up parcels or fresh bread, etc. Wipes clean, but it doesn't stretch wider like a canvas bag does. Straps are perfect length!

Since I am an Obama fan, this was a perfect tote for me to use in my business. It brings lots of comments and let's others know that I feel our country will overcome our economical problems.

This is the second newspaper tote that I have purchased and since I decorate, the other one has a home design picture and article. I have used it often and again, everyone notices it.

For the money and fun they both bring to me, I would recommend it for yourself as well as the perfect gift.

Bought this as a 40th birthday gift while on a tight budget, this tote was the talk of the party. The design is simple yet durable. I love the stitching.....would have loved it to be somewhat bigger but still worth the rave reviews it got!!

We experienced a flurry of momentous, historic events over the last 8 years, and now we have a racially mixed President for the first time in history. The tote marks this celebrated event as it was seen on that day in print, now a dying medium (another novelty we have started to take for granted). Well made, good color, and a great conversation piece no matter what your political leaning -- going out to the Farmer's Market, bookstore, even church (yes, I am this daring).

One generation ago, this feat would have been unheard of due to segregation. Today, my generation and those upcoming can't fathom what our fathers have gone through to get to this stage. True, there is a reminder that Proposition 8 was voted down. I take it as a reminder that equal rights still need to be fought for; that not everyone receives the same treatment in our enlightened age. Interesting that both of these stories are included on the same paper, huh?

We have our President as inspiration. And as Martin Luther King Jr. said: "Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children."
