This was a gift for my father's 81st birthday and he loved it. I will be purchasing several more for other relatives. Nice product. Good price. I was able to get AM, FM and the weatherband with no problem.

I am a bit infatuated with the idea of solar-charging and I wanted a radio to play in my kitchen while cooking. This little dynamo is pretty simple, could be bigger, but kind of amazing when you think about what it is capable of. I'd like to charge it on my car dashboard (if I had a car) and take it to the beach. Maybe I'll strap it to my handlebars instead.

Living in The Bahamas, this will come in handy during hurricane season and power outages. No mad rush to buy batteries, no worries of batteries running out. This is not only a cool radio but so practical for our part of the world. I bought two, one for my husband and one for my father.
