I am a Eco-Gardener and purchased this product to take with me in my truck on jobs, and to use in case of an emergency. From the picture I feared that this might a flimsy/plasticy device, but instead was pleasantly surprised to find the device made out of a heavy grade/high quality/sturdy plastic composite. This device is built to last, and will definitely handle the rigors of going onsite with a Gardener.

I purchased this as a gift. I had it gift-wrapped so I had no idea how TINY it actually is. As long as you understand that it can fit in the palm of your hand, you'll be pleased. Very cute, compact and it seemed to function appropriately with decent volume. A nice item for camping trips or outdoor use due to the ease of packing and carrying it without needing a power source. It "looks" like a novelty item...but could easily function as an emergency radio in case of power outages. Maybe I should have kept it for MYSELF.

I love this product. Could be a little bigger but it works pretty good. I tested it as soon as I received it and with just a few cranks of the handle I could hear the radio station clearly. It just goes to show you good things can come in small packages.

I bought this for my brother, who's a real outdoorsman. When, I received it, however, I was tempted to keep it for myself........the mark of a really great gift! It's very small and easy to add to one's gear. The perfect gift for almost anyone. I was surprised by how good the reception was also. This gift for the price is PRETTY COOL!
