This doll house is adorable. It assembled in less than a minute. We clipped the bottom of the house rather than inserting the tabs so that it can open easily to be colored. There are drawings inside and out, which thrilled our 6 year old, who already has her favorite stuffed animal living in it. To note, as many have... it is a "dollhouse" as it clearly states and not a "playhouse" as is available as well--surprising how many people didn't check the name, description, or dimensions. It is what it is--creative and simple--and delightful.

I highly recommend this as a gift for a child from the age of 4 and up. When gave it as a gift the little girl wanted to do it immediately, her only comment was that she wished she could get in herself. I was a little disappointed in this... although I admit I should have been more diligent in checking the size. I have seen these before where they are big enough for a toddler to go inside it, and I assumed this was one of those. It is not. It would be a good size for barbie dolls to play in. Still cute, but not what I expected....
