Hey, this mat is not your rugged $150 door mat, and frankly, who cares? It is just funny and gives people a chuckle when they come to the door. If I wanted it to last a long time, I certainly wouldn't leave it out in terrible weather, but it will probably last through the year.

I love this doormat because it is subtly hilarious--spot-on with my sense of humor. As billed, it's given many a guest a good chuckle, and even funnier is when somebody reads it and then painfully refrains from commenting (usually stepping off the thing so that it'll stop staring). In my search for the right doormat, I've encountered products with a similar message, but their font and coloring made them seem obnoxious--the font and coloring of this mat are understated and innocently deadpan, hitting just the right note. The only drawback is that the mat could be a little bigger. I've only had it a week, so I have not been able to test its durability, but on preliminary inspection, it appears thick and durable enough.
