I saw these books a few months ago, and made a commitment to buy them for my daughter as soon as I had the money to. My daughter is six months old. When I think of the touch and feel I think of very young children. After receiving these books, I read them all with her. We have not brought them back out since, however.
These books are very delicate, and for children with self control and can appreciate the books for viewing pleasures only. Maybe we can bring them back out in a few years...

I split up the books for multiple gifts, otherwise the cost would have been too high for my gift budget. I think these were geared for young kids (2 -3), my gift recipients are older (5 -6). They love them. I think the books would be even better if they took it up a notch with the hands-on part. My daughter loves Mona Lisa's hair:-) Great idea - learning and fun!
