You cannot feel the hot/cold temperatures of the food in the bowl, with your hands when you're holding the bowl. Makes it easier and more enjoyable to eat. You can only eat small quanities because the bowls aren't that big, so it's excellent for desserts and making sure you don't over indulge. :)

The saucer/top allows me to eat while working and it keeps the food warm thoughout. A pair stacks easily. And the size is just right for a decent, not huge, portion. Plus, can grab out of microwave without a potholder!
