I purchased this as a gift for my grammie, and she loves it! It's a real leaf...I love how the pores and veins are still visible, after it's been dipped in the gold! She plans to use it in her bathroom. Be prepared that the leaf pictured is perfectly symmetrical, and the actual product you receive (the particular leaf you get) may NOT be. Because every leaf is different, the one I ordered was larger and more complete on the left side, than the right...but it still looked very nice and adds great ambience to any space.

I got this for my mom who is NUTS about maple leaves. She has sheets, a bedspread and throws that are maple leaves everywhere! So this was a natural thing to get for her and she says it's beautiful. I got the gold one. She says it's real easy to see in the bathroom, which is why I got it for her. Very pretty, very useful, and very stylish.

The leaf itself is very pretty but I think for the price, I was expecting something a little more sturdy and well-made. The leaf sticks to the nightlight base with just a few dabs of what appears to be strong double sided tape, like something cobbled together in an arts and crafts class. The nightlight mechanism looks like something just picked up from the hardware store. It doesn't look like it will hold up for too long.

A beautiful nightlight. My mom is always looking for a nightlight that is as beautiful in the day as at night and this fits the bill perfectly. Don't know about the area of illumination as I actually didn't try it out before I sent it to her. It looks very delicate, but actually seems pretty sturdy.
