Find inner and outer peace with this one-of-a-kind yoga mat tote made from recycled rice and feed bags. Originally, this material was used to carry commodities in Southeast Asia, but was dyed and refashioned into a colorful, durable bag by disadvantaged workers in Cambodia. The proceeds from each bag help provide for these workers. Handcrafted and fair trade certified. No two bags alike. Handmade in Cambodia.

Gave this yoga mat bag (recycled and fair trade are awesome!) to my best friend as a gift. She loved it. I knew she would. She flipped when she saw that it was lined too!

This was a great gift for my sister-in-law who refuses to buy anything that is not fair trade or recycled. She tells me it makes her feel great everytime she takes it with her to yoga workouts. They color and design is attractive too.

Cheap bag, big price tag
By K from Richmond, VA on 12/17/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Bright
Cons:
Delicate
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments aboutRECYCLED YOGA BAG:
Cute bag for a good cause, but it seems expensive for something that rips so easily. Also, the tag on the bag says it will fade quickly with wear, and to be careful because the colors could rub off on other materials.

Comments aboutRECYCLED YOGA BAG:
I love the concept of this yoga bag and it looks just like the photo. The only problem is it is a little short in terms of length. I have to JAM my yoga mat into the bag with a bit of effort and it's not really covenient. I was really disappointed by this!

Comments aboutRECYCLED YOGA BAG:
I thought it looked really cool in the picture, but when I got it home, I was really disappointed because it looked flimsy and my mat wouldn't fit inside. I have a standard mat with a yogitoes towel, and the width of the mat would not fit in the bag.It is just about an inch or so too short. It could go in if you really tried, but who wants to shoehorn their mat in when they're all dreamy after class? I returned mine :(

I really love the idea that a "formerly known as rice sack" can be recycled into a stylish and useful yoga mat bag. Porting my gear to my classes has never been more fun.
