Can't get it to work!

I was very excited to receve this product, but was soon disappointed. The device sits atop my wine bottle and seals it fine, but I can't figure out how to "pump" the air out! (And I'm in graduate school!) To seal the bottle, I push down on the outer part of the device, dropping in down further onto the bottle. To unseal it, I push the button on top. Repeatedly pushing the button doesn't do anything. The product came zip-tied to a paper card touting the company's stylish designs, but no instructions.

I'll probably keep the device b/c it does a good job of sealing the bottle and it is small enough to allow the bottle to sit upright in my fridge, but I wish I knew how to make it pump the air out! Help??

I have used many different types of stoppers from vacuum to pressure fitting units. This by far is the easiest and most attractive I've found... time will tell on the stoppers durability, I've been using it for several weeks now with no issues.

The product looks nice, but fails to work as advertised. Would not form a seal over three bottles we tried it on. Buy with extreme caution!

Got this to use as a stopper on my wine bottles due to its short height. Although this item looks like it would do the job, it doesn't come with directions for proper use. It doesn't 'seat' itself to the bottle (not a tight fit). It also only fits over a small lipped wine bottle.

This product although "simple to use" does not do the job. After pumping the air out the seal would not stay tight on bottle lip.
