The necklace is great. It's exactly as shown in the catalog. The chain was too short for me and needed replaced but that was no surprise.

Service & Delivery comments:

The service was great and the necklace arrived in a couple of days. The packaging, however, was not what I expected from a company that is committed to sustainability. The necklace was packaged in its box from the artist, then repackaged into a cardboard shipping box that was approx. 5" x 5" x 6" and filled with shredded paper to keep the small inside box from flopping around. This seems excessive when a small bubble mailer would have been more than sufficient.

My 16 year old sister loved the saying, the length of the chain, the craftsmanship, and the uniqueness. One request I would have for this particular product, would be the ability to engrave text on the back of the art to, among other things, commemorate the date, "Christmas '09" or who it was from "big brother", etc. Great product!

I'm agreeing with another reveiwer, the piece lacks craftsmanship, especially for the price. It does look like something from a dime store. Gold cutout disk is sharp around the edges, if you run your finger over it it catches on your skin. Piece is too small! I have to use a magnifying lens to see the print. It's only 3/4" in diameter. Had planned to give as a gift (would have been perfect) but was afraid recipient would think it was cheap (we have a [$] avg limit). I am going to keep it for myself though, because as I've said -- love the concept. Also, I really like the length.

I purchased this for my 16 year old daughter as the saying was the motto for her high school this year. I returned the necklace because it was poor quality and over priced at [$]. It was not accompanied by an artist card as advertised. The inscription on the front was barely legible.
