This is certainly a unique present for any Mets fan. While I expected the item to be a little larger, it's still a fine product. Most mementos from Shea Stadium are at least $200, and of course, those are large pieces. If you can't afford such a grand gesture as old seats from the stadium, this will do just fine.

Loved the paperweight. Came with a card with background information and authenticity. Just wish the card came in an envelope... I ended up making my own.

Service & Delivery comments:

Product was poorly packaged in a cloth bag made from tshirt material (which was ripped from the sharp edges of the paperweight) and inserted into a bubble wrap envelope, which was not sufficient for a heavy product. The edges were chipped when I received the product. Embarrassing when it was being given as a gift!

it did say on the website but i didnt see. that the metal may cause cancer or birth defects. not sure if the best thing to be selling

Our website copy states: This piece of structural steel may contain lead or other chemicals that may not have been considered harmful at the time the stadium was constructed. However, by today's standards, the piece of steel may be considered harmful if handled, so it should be kept in its protective display case.
