Inspired by an old fashioned ski pole (note the cross stitch detail on the back of the rubber handle), this brilliant potato masher has an ergonomic easy-to-grip rubber handle that allows you to hold it from the side or from above. Features an extremely efficient detachable mashing plate designed to self clean by pushing the mashed potatoes away from the stem. Designed by the Anglo-Swiss design duo Dan Black and Martin Blum.

This spudski fits nicely in the hand and mashes potatoes, etc., with ease. The masher part is sturdy, and the kids have fun thinking they are mashing a potato with a ski pole :) I just wished that the masher (bottom circle) folded for easier storing. I guess that's what utensil holders are for. I had bought a spudski for myself and 2 for friends. A truly unique and wonderful gadget gift that works!
