whatever else artist Tammy Roy can get her hands on.
The discarded pieces are collected by the artist herself from various steel manufacturers before she arranges them and then welds them all together.
"I am literally inside of their dumpsters picking through
and separating pieces that inspire me," Tammy says. "I never know what I'm going to come across, and as
a result, I never know what it will ultimately transform into."

I ordered this for a friend's birthday, and I am glad I had it shipped to me first. The one shown as an example is much more attractive than what I received. It not merely an issue of the items being arranged more attractively, it's the fact that the one I received is 60% "filler" (big metal circles), large open gaps, and few tools. I feel rather cheated. It was not worth [$].

These bowls are just amazing, I purchased one as a gift for friend. They loved the concept. I noticed it right away when I walked into their house, they had placed it as a centerpiece in their kitchen. They have a converted warehouse condo and it fit the decor perfectly.

I was very excited about this item. I purchased it for a friend who is a mechanic and really into tools, etc. Unfortunately, the piece is extremely large and many of the scrap pieces were odd and not necesarily tools. I love the concept, but would prefer the size to be scaled back significantly. Obviously this is more a gift for a guy and it was over the top.
