Hard Hat? Check. Work boots. Check. Macaroni and cheese? Check.
Lay out the blueprints of healthy eating and make every meal a construction site of creativity with this fun plate and set of equipment-inspired utensils (sold separately). With the bulldozer pusher, fork lift, and front loader spoon, your little builder will always be excited to clean his or her plate. Designed with function and play value in mind, these pieces feature textured, easy-to-grip handles and are lightweight, yet rugged.
Created by a husband-and-wife team, whose son loved construction so much that he asked for Cheerios to use for rubble instead of eating. Made in China.
The plate is great and works great with the accompanying utensils. However, the spot for the spoon is not far enough into the plate. So too much of the spoon is off of the plate making the spoon fall off of the side unless you put it in a different place than the place made for it. But in use with the utensils, it is great.

Comments aboutCONSTRUCTION DISHWARE:
These are great--playtoys and utensils. I wish the wheels turned. Harder to clean than regular utensils, but fun. There is a plate too, but the spoon doesn't fit in the slot it is supposed to for some reason. The slot needs to be further into the center of the plate so the spoon doesn't fall off the edge because not enough is on the plate. But I would get the plate too as it makes the utensils more fun.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting; I thought they would look a little more like real trucks, but it's still cute. I work with a child with autism, who LOVES trucks and who has extensive feeding issues. While we try to introduce new foods, he is much more accepting of the novel foods when he is eating it with a truck. Overall, it's a great product and suits my needs.

When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect for my nephew's 2nd birthday. It's a cute idea and looks like it would be fun for him. However, when I received the product, I thought the design was a little strange. It is made of an orange plastic material and there is writing under the surface of the plastic so it looks as though it's defective. You can't see the writing in the picture of the product because there's food on the plate and I would say that it's not a critical design flaw but still something I don't quite understand. Overall, I still like the product.

My 4 year old would like to use this everyday. He's not really a picky eater so I didn't get it to encourage eating - just to please his inner tractor lover. He LOVES eating with this plate, and his 8 year old sister loves it even more and insisted we buy her one too.
