Purchased as a gift. Came packaged nicely. I was a bit surprised at the size of the box... the pictures made it look large. But still an nice size to hold a few tbs each of spices. Gift was well received by my foodie friends.

Comments aboutFOODIE SURVIVAL KIT:
I bought this for my mom for Christmas, she is a traveling foodie. When it arrived, there was powder all over the inside the travel tin. I wiped everything down before wrapping. I guess I thought the spices would be a little more sealed in the little containers. But other that she loved it!

the perfect gift for my daughter who leads treks across the US, cooking at a campsite, without the appropriate appliances, cookware and ingredients much of the time. She loved this, such a perfect gift for her.

I gave this to my husband who often cooks when he travels to see family and friends. He always takes a set of basic with him and loves the small packaging of these organic spices, since he often finds something missing or very old and stale in the away from home kitchens.

I like the idea, it was for someone that travels a lot and cooks a lot. The hot sauce exploded and made a mess and I think if the kit were separated this would not have happened,. I also did not have time to get a new one, it arrived 3 days before I needed to give it to someone and so shipping it or complaining would have done me no good.
