I bought this originally as a stocking stuffer for a family member, and almost kept it for myself! I didn't check the measurements and boy was I sorry. How can this be used for travel? It's big and bulky. You practically need to carry this in a separate suitcase. I'm not sure who would bring this along with them on a trip considering how large it is. Think School Binder when you are considering purchasing this item.

Perfect for dreaming about future travel plans, planning your exact trip, from weekends to longer getaways, down to the smallest details, saving ideas for return visits, and keeping all of your trip plans very organize.
Has nice folder pockets at the back for keeping restaurant menus, travel pamphlets, etc. Definitely gets us excited about our next trip coming up!
The structure was not what I was expecting. The binder is cardboard (yay for no plastic), and does have a cord latch, but does not close up completely, so I may lose a few pieces of paper out of it, here and there.
Otherwise, its the best travel organizer I've seen.
