I was excited that I could be using a "green" coffee cup instead of always using a paper cup. I was disappointed with the description of this item--it did not explain that the cup came with a lid. I ended up ordering extra lids for no reason. I was also disappointed that the design of the cup, while having great insulation, it lacks volume. It only holds half of what a regular paper cup holds.

I love my "I am not a paper cup"! It looks so real that sometimes, when it is sitting on the kitchen table and I've been gone for a while, I come back and think that it is a disposable cup. I always laugh when I realize that this product can fool me time and again. The glaze on the outside of the ceramic even *feels* like paper in your hand--I don't know how they do it!

There are two potential downsides to this cup, sadly. The first is that its capacity is only about 8 oz, I believe, which is about the size of a small mug of coffee. I need a little more than 8 oz. to jump start my day. ;) The second is that the lid does not have a 100% tight fit, which means that if you fill the cup to capacity, the liquid sometimes leaks down the sides. This is not a problem if you can avoid filling it to the top, but see problem #1 (small capacity) and you see why problem #2 frustrates me. I have heard from others who own this cup that their lid fits securely, so perhaps it was a one-time problem?

Overall, this is a quirky and fun gift for someone who can survive on a small cup of coffee in the morning (or someone looking to reduce his/her habit!).

This cup looks just like paper and totally fooled my aunt, the coffee fiend. She loved it and uses it every day. It keeps drinks hot for a long time and the lid is easy to put on and a snap to clean.

I received this as a gift from my boyfriend and I love it! I don't like the way coffee tastes out of a plastic mug and I also don't like to be wasteful! This ceramic mug does the job it's supposed to do and is super cute. I just wish it were larger.

Even after washing the lid with lemon juice it still had an after taste. After the third use this went away and now I completely enjoy my "i am not a paper cup".
