The box was beautiful, not extremely unique in structure, but beautiful. You could store many things besides photos in it. The negative is that the description makes it sound like two boxes will come in the mail, and I only received a red one (they don't even give you the choice of color if I remember correctly).

The glass of the top is a bit tricky to move in order to place the photo. I love that it's recycled material more than anything. It's beautiful, functional and a responsible purchase.

I gave this as a gift to a caregiver at my daughter's childcare center. She had mentioned that she enjoyed taking pictures and took pictures of just about everything, so I thought this would be an appropriate gift. It's beautiful. I did think that it looked like a fabric box by the picture, when in actuality it's not, but the blue on brown still looks great.
