I was really pleased with this frame, which I gave as a gift. I thought that it being made from reclaimed materials was very unique, but since that is the case, you have to take what comes with that. There were some scratches on the record frame that caught the light, standing out. These scratches are the reasons why the record was chosen to be made into a frame, however.
The picture window was made of a flexible plastic, which surprised me. It's not necessarily inferior to glass, but I just didn't anticipate that. The rest of the construction is sturdy and the picture (for 5x7 and larger) is held firmly in place.

I had to returned the first record because it was bent on the edge, the replacement record was chipped in the same area.If seems to me that records were not ment to be cut.

I was disappointed with the quality/value for the price. If I wasn't giving it as a gift the day after I recieved it, I would have returned the purchase. It just seemed of poor quality for a frame that was over $20.

The size was a bit smaller than expected, and the diameter of the actual photo "window" is an odd circular size, so you would have to use a photo larger than 4x6 to cut up and insert (I just used blank paper in the gaps between photo and frame). Otherwise unique and cute gift though.
