MAGMA STONE VOTIVE HOLDER

This intriguing votive holder is an organic yet modern alternative to the typical candle holder. Resembling the entrance of a cave, the votive holder is made of frost-proof, glazed dolomite and has a bold red interior that offsets its cool black shell making it warm, vivid and contemporary.

When developing Magma Stone, the designer Pernille Vea gathered inspiration from the glowing interior of the earth. The burning red glazing sharply contrasts the dark, charcoal grey exterior resembling coagulated lava. Both outside in the garden and inside in the living room, the Magma Stone resembles a vivid picture of the primordial forces of the earth. Made in China.

With a flat, dark Grey exterior and a glossy interior, when burned in a low light environment the interior is all that seems to exist. Very beautiful and surreal.
