Combining the convenience of a travel umbrella with the strength of one twice its size, this handy umbrella will save you in any storm. Winner of the 2007 Red Dot design award, this aerodynamic umbrella by designer Gerwin Hoggendarn can withstand winds up to 40 mph without inverting. This "smart" umbrella puts itself in the best position in the wind to protect you to the fullest. Optimal line of sight from under the canopy, patented reinforced rib construction and a patented handle construction with reverse opening. Instead of "popping" open like a traditional umbrella, the Senz gives you more control as you push it open manually. Nominated for the German Design Award 2008. Made in China.

In the wind storm of the decade this product was fully functional! it is great when a product lives up to the advertised promise. The shape may be less than conventional but others are jealous of its capacity to protect from strong rain in a windy situation.

Comments aboutSENZ UMBRELLA - MINI TRAVEL SIZE:
I used this umbrella in Times Square when it was very crowded, as usual, and the umbrella is so compact that I didn't bump into everyone with it. The large rubber pieces at the ends of the ribs made me less worried about poking someone in the eye as I worked through the crowd. The longer back extension kept the whole back part of my body and my backpack dry. I haven't yet had a chance to try the umbrella on a windy day.
Service & Delivery comments:
Very prompt delivery. Product arrived in perfect condition. Packaging seemed unusually large for such a small product.

Comments aboutSENZ UMBRELLA - MINI TRAVEL SIZE:
This umbrella offers best coverage of any I've ever used. I was nervous about the price, because it is the most I've spent on an umbrella. It is well worth every dollar!!! We have heavy downpour with lots of wind, and it stands up under all that. I ride the bus, so wind up standing or walking in the rain a lot. I probably will buy the full size umbrella very soon.

Comments aboutSENZ UMBRELLA - MINI TRAVEL SIZE:
The mini Saenz umbrella has a funny shape but it really works. It is smaller then I expected even knowing the measurements but the reason for getting a new umbrella was that I was tired of carrying my big, long one every time it threatened rain. I haven't had an opportunity to use it in high winds yet but it did keep me protected in a downpour. The handle is a little small but again, that's what makes it compact. You have to read the directions to understand why it's shaped the way it is and how to open it & hold it but it's pretty simple and when it's raining you figure it out pretty quickly. I get funny looks but I think it's great. As long as I don't lose it since it's so small, it's worth the money!
