I bought this doormat despite not really needing one (I live upstairs in a quad, so feet are clean by the time they get to my stoop) and I couldn't be happier. I was impressed with how thick and sturdy it was when I took it out of the box. I'd advise, however, to remove the mat from the box outside as there can be some loose fibers that will get on your floor. This doormat inspires comments from nearly everyone who comes to my door. Also, it does a great job at setting the tone for my bachelorette pad by getting guests' minds on what I want them to be thinking about: underpants.
