I purchased the Kimochi Bear for my niece for her two-year birthday in February 2009 and she is already learning the names of the emotion pillows. It won't be long before she'll be able to connect what she's feeling to the pillows. Kimochi Doll is a great way to teach small children how to deal with their emotions or how to express their feelings. The quality is exceptional and the toy is unique in design.

Its great! I love it. Im 23 years old and think its awesome. Its a bit expensive. However they do not offer these particular kimochis on the products home website. The extra feeling packs are $2 more here and the cloud kimochi is $13 more here, but I love this website and they offer kimochis that arent avaiable on the actual products website. I would recommend this product and I bought it for myself, and will look into buying more when more kimochi products that I like become avaiable.

I bought this doll for my 5 year old step-son. I wasn't sure if he'd like it. He plays video games, loves spongebob, etc. He enjoyed the kimochi doll immediately. He used it to describe his feelings, and ways to describe his peers and adults. He asked what some of the emotions meant and he was generally curious about all aspects of the doll. I would recommend this to all parents, it's very enlightening.

I call it the "Feelings Monster" and my student love it, even the 8th graders. I bought an emotion pack with the doll so my students have a variety of feelings to choose from. It helps them identify feelings! I use it all the time.

I wish there were blanks included so you could write your own emotions. The extra emotion sets also duplicate what comes with the dolls so they don't seem worth buying.
Bear is really great when talking about feelings, which can be tough sometimes, even as adults.
