I bought this for one of my friends as a gift for Christmas this year! She said this was the the best gift anyone has ever given her. I gave her the gift at 9am and she had already picked out all of her T-shirts for the quilt by noon! A great gift for a Do-It-Yourselfer with tons of memories of concerts over the years!

I Love this product! I have been looking to do this for my husband for years but it was always too expensive and I did not have the skills to do it myself. I ordered the kit (used the live chat to ask some questions when I ordered-they were great) then I sent it back to have completed and could not believe how beautiful it was! The total cost was still half the price of the cheapest quote I got anywhere else. The turnaround was so fast too! I got it back 3 weeks later during the holiday season!The quality is great, so soft. My husband loved it-I highly recommend it.

The quilt went together with the t-ships and fushion fine. The backing was cheap and too stretchy. After trying to get it to work, I ditched it and bought my own quality backing. I am an excellant seamstress. Enjoyed the finished product.

This is an item you can construct yourself. I found all the elements to be very good. Of course, the quilt remains to be put together! I expect very good results. I would get another one, though I can do all the things required. The precision and the good quality make it worthwhile.

I bought this kit so that I could create a quilt for my husband for Christmas. He LOVES t-shirts, and his closet was overflowing with old ones that he didn't wear but saved for the memories. So I snatched them up and used 16 of them for this quilt. I am not very handy with sewing, and while the directions were very clear, I handed it off to a friend and she had it done in no time. It is awesome, and the material is very soft. I think my husband will be very surprised.

I think it will be neat when finished. I was surprised at how much it cost to have them sew it. It was kind-of an expensive gift and now I feel like I have to include $$ with it for them to send it off.

So excited to find this - my daughter has a collection of t-shirts that she has wanted to have put together in a quilt for years. Not being a seamstress they have just been sitting - this is wonderful!

I had to write Uncommon Goods for help prior to ordering this product and their customer service is always superb. I received my shipment and was pleased with the information I got (I can reproduce this product easily) but was dismayed that it cost this much money for a few pieces of fabric and directions. I dont know what I was expecting but I am no seamstress, or I would not have bought this in the first place! I will be sending it off (and paying an additional $80) for completion and crossing my fingers to hope for the best!

I had heard of similar products/services but have been unable to actually find them. Then I saw this kit! Now the t-shirts that I could not throw away (too sentimental) but could no longer wear will have a second life. Best of all, they will do the sewing for me (additional charge). Since I don't own a sewing machine, this was an issue that was neatly resolved.
