I love river rocks. I collect them from all of my hiking trips. When I added these felt pebbles to my collection I have on display in my studio, visitors did double takes! They had to handle and admire them.

I bought this for a gift for my mother because she's always picking up rocks. Since you can't choose which rock, I took a chance on the luck of the draw. I got one that isn't quite as convincing as a "pebble." I gave it to her anyway and we had a good laugh but the blue "pebble" wasn't as obvious. Good use of recycled material though!

It's called Felt Pepple not felt softball. It was a perfectly round bright yellow softball. It looked nothing like the pictures show. I ended up throwing it away because I had to explain what it was every time someone looked at it, what it was actually supposed to be (a felt pepple). I was thinking it was going to be more the size of a rock/pepple but it was a 4 1/2 in round ball. Looked nothing like a rock or pepple.

I like the color variety, but as mentioned above, the shape of the pebbles was too uniform. Instead of looking like pebbles (or rocks, since they are bigger than pebbles -- like the size of kiwis) they kind of look like felt spheres.
