Great toy have had for many years and am getting it as a gift for a friend. My daughter still plays with it after all these years! Simple yet creative, great for all ages. Hope they restock soon I don't know where else to buy from!

My 3.5 year old's preschool teacher told me my daughter plays with this toy a lot in school and she recommended I get it for her. I hesitated quite a while, since its so expensive. But I bought it for a special occasion, and my daughter was thrilled. It keeps her busy for a while, and my husband and I enjoy playing with her with it as well. My 1 year old also loves to play, grabbing the peices and knocking down whatever we build. I got over the price, because I expect it to last for years and have my son and future kids (?) enjoy it as well as opposed to some princess fairy toy that would most likely find its way to the garbage pretty quickly.

My 3 kids love this toy. It is 3 toys in one. Toy 1 = placing all the pieces flat in a wooden pie pan. Toy 2 = stacking all the pieces on the bottom of the wooden pie pan to make a pyramid. Toy 3 = make a big snake on the ground out of all the rainbow colored pieces. The activities are harder than you think! Each requires the child to place the pieces differently (to fit in the pie plate, they must go in one way -- to make the pyramid, the pieces must be flipped the opposite way -- to make the snake, the child must alternate the way the colored pieces are placed on the ground to make them "fit" together). Wooden pie plate is included with the rainbow shapes & is great for storage. FUN!!!

Beautiful, solid, creative toy, but thought it would be bigger from catalog description. My daughter likes it for her son though, and says he will grow into it. Hes 3 and 1/2.

I gave this to my daughter for her 3rd birthday. She loves it. Plays with it non-stop for the last 5 days. I have already seen her grow, learn, and master new techniques. My 5 1/2 year old also enjoys it. She learns colors, shapes, creativity. I also bought my own lead testing kit, and it is indeed negative.
