Are your old vinyl records gathering more dust than playtime -- and yet you still can't seem to part with them? Whether you twisted to the Beatles, swayed with Aretha Franklin, danced with the Dead, two-stepped with Loretta Lynn or boogied with the Bee Gees, artist Jeff Davis will personally turn your old LPs into these hip, stylish and custom-made record bowls that will put a new spin on your favorite artists. Handmade in Philadelphia.

Here's how it works: You will place an order for a custom record bowl from UncommonGoods. A customer service representative will contact you to confirm the information on your order. Then we will ship a prepaid labeled corrugated mailer to you. Simply pop your 33rpm record in the protective sleeve and mailer, tape it shut and give it to UPS. Your record will be delivered directly to Jeff, and he will start right away making your bowl. Jeff uses "side A" of the record for the inside of the bowl, so please indicate if you would like otherwise. Only one 33rpm record per box.

Disclaimer: Not every record successfully transforms into a bowl. There is a small percentage of loss due to vinyl composition and age. If the bowl made from your record does not meet our high standard of quality, we will attempt to replace the record, but cannot guarantee an exact replacement of the album. If we are unable to create a record bowl or replace it with a similar version, you will not be charged for it.

Because of the custom nature of this item, all sales are final. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please allow 3 weeks for delivery. At this time, this item can only be shipped to the contiguous 48 states.

To be used for serving dry goods only. No liquids or hot items. Not dishwasher safe.

When I saw this in the catalog, I thought "if only I could use our song," and then I read the fine print to learn that the bowl could be customized. The bowl was made with the LP I provided, and it was returned with time to spare as I gave it to my husband for a 30th wedding anniversary present. What a fun reminder of our song and our dating days in 1976.

I bought this product as a gift for my Boss who is an avid Bruce Springsteen fan. I sent in her favourite album to be made into a custom bowl and it looks fantastic, I just know she will love it! Something that is really great is that the artist sealed the bottom of the record so there is no hole (where it used to sit on a turntable). Fantastic!

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was very prompt however, the custom papers were not sent with the box the record was supposed to go in so I had to source them out myself. I did contact uncommon goods more than once and everyone said they would call me back and no one ever did - very disappointing.
