I bought this toy because of the train picture for my train obsessed grandson. However, my older grandchildren enjoy making the other configurations as much as the birthday child enjoyed the train. After a brief demonstation from me the adult, they were off and experimenting on their own.\n\nThe only minus was a storage bag or pouch for unused parts and/or a tote to hold the toy when not assembled. This makes it hard to put away so I just had to use a large zip loc bag

We just got this today, as a gift for my 2 year old son. He is obsessed with trains, and he loves it. He understood what it was as soon as we put the roof on. He was "choo-chooing" away. \n\nWe are having a train themed birthday bash, and this will be great for all the kids to play in, with and around. \n\nIt is also great because the pieces can be made into other things as well.\n\nThis is a great active toy!

The Squashblox Train Set was well received by both the grandkids and their parents! My grandchildren like assembling it as much as playing in it. And their parents like the fact that it can be taken apart and stored easily after play. It was definitely a hit!
