This children's bedtime story of the owl and the pussycat has been around since 1817, but these peek-a-boo dolls of the beloved characters give a fresh twist to the tale. All the animal dolls are based on classic children's fables such as "The Rabbit and the Wolf," "The Elephant and the Monkey," "The Fox and the Crow," "The Owl and the Pussycat," and "The Lion and the Mouse." Each doll is handmade in Morocco and reflects the beautiful meeting of craftsmanship, folklore, and childhood creativity. Each animal doll features two forms that change with a flip of their one-of-a-kind fabric skirts. Handmade in Morocco.

I had to clarify a detail. The Owl and The Pussycat poem was written by Edward Lear in 1867, not 1817. It was first published in 1871, so perhaps someone only transposed the numbers. \n\nThe doll you have made is wonderful.
