I bought this for one of my employees for his one year anniversary with the company. He loves the industrial-looking design and how heavy it is. As others have mentioned, it does have rust on it. He said he doesn't mind it for looks; it makes it look more industrial, but it is a little impractical as the rust gets on your hands. All in all, though, he was pleased with it as a gift and it sits on his desk with a few of his business cards in it.

I got this for my boyfriend who works in construction. It is one of the most unique business card holders I've seen, and especially neat for his line of work. I didn't really care that the welding wasn't perfect. I thought that made it look more rustic. I did, however, have an issue with the rust on the bottom part. I noticed there were lots of complaints about this. For the amount you pay for this business card holder, I think the rust should be removed before selling. Like one other review, I tried CLR (applied a couple coats) and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush. This cleaned it up pretty well so it looked more silvery than rusty. I am very happy with it now. It is still somewhat "used" looking but thats the whole idea of this item. I would definitely buy it but just make sure you apply CLR to remove the rust. It is worth the work to make it a really neat business card holder. Also, the reviews about only being able to hold one business card was NOT true for my holder. It can hold about 10 cards which is sufficient for everyday office use. I don't think anyone would even want to have it be vertical so I doubt that it would matter that much to "most" people that it holds horizontal cards. All in all, it is really an awesome, creative gift!

I purchased the card holder thinking of doing my "green" part for the enviornment.[...] the holder was not a finished product; it was rusty. The holder seemed to be made to hold not a bunch of cards, but 1 (one) card. I like the idea, but I recomend to only purchase if using in a rustic type of atmosphere. I sent it back.

This business card holder has a unique design. Unfortunately it is not very functional though because the coil shaped piece in front that is supposed to hold the cards in place is too close to the backing and not flexible enough. You can only put a few cards in there and they are hard to get in and out. It is also rusty and gets stuff all over your hands and the cards.

This is a great idea BUT the welds that attach the holder to the drill bit aren't terribly visibly pleasing. Actually they are just rough spot welds - not the best for an office setting. And the angle iron used for the holder could have been ... enhanced for artistic value. Like I said, this product is a great idea but it, quite frankly, looks kind of slapped together.
