found a pen to solve the dilemma with this ingenious scroll pen. It combines an
easy-flow, ball point tip with a barrel that conceals a handy roll of paper. The very cool part of this pen is that you don't have to tear off the paper in order to write on it, but you can simply pull the barrel (bottom) away from the top and you then have a pen to write with and you can scroll back the paper into the cap to
maintain a journal. Perfect also, for artists that are inspired as they are walking around - now are always prepared. A handsome box makes it the perfect gift. You'll never miss

The listing of this item is deceptive. I ended up mistakingly ordering only refills for the pen, thinking I was buying the pen itself. Since the item is listed as scroll pen, followed by details on refills, it appears to be all included under one purchase. Apparently, the pen itself is currently out of stock or on back order.
