Inspired by the fir tree and the popular German carol, this pastel and oil painting is done entirely by hand on canvas with wooden stretchers by artist Ian Nicholas. The lyrics - "O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum, You give us so much pleasure! How oft at Christmas tide the sight, O green fir tree, gives us delight" - are printed on aged paper. Each piece is signed by the artist and includes hanging hardware and an artist biography on the back. Handmade in Georgia.
