This dishware has clean, simple lines but always brings out smiles when lunch is served. Just different. Bowl is large enough for salad or even pasta. Weighty - I like mine so much, I'm pretty careful with them and haven't had the chips others complain about. Bought a set for the "person that has everything" and they e-mailed me a picture of their meal! Good wedding present for a young couple....
