I haven't used it yet, since my granddaughter is still very young. I was a pre-school teacher and the song, yes we sang it, was always a favorite of my kids. I just wish I had this doll when I taught, it would have invited a lot of participation from my class.

My grandkids and I sing together and they put the animals inside one by one. My grandkids are 4, 8 and 10 years old. Even the 10 year old enjoys it. We get silly and add more animals to the song. We giggle and have fun.

I loved this story when I was a child, and now my kids love it too. The book is wonderful: bright illustrations, great additions. The doll is about 2 feet long, WOW. It helps my little one to follow along with the story, as well as make up their own stories. All the animals store well inside the "old lady's" stomach.
