These are so cute and would really help pick your bag out from others ( unless others shop at uncommon goods too..) BUT...my husband's observation was that they would sorely tempt some disgruntled baggage handler to tear your luggage apart....I'll use them. Nice quality and tether looks sturdy.

I used these as placecards/favors at an adults-only birthday dinner, taking care to choose a message appropriate to the recipient (e.g. a male college student received the "dirty clothes inside"). The tags were a big hit; the guests enjoyed comparing the selections. However, I doubt that any will actually be used as luggage tags: the plastic ties break quite easily and cannot be moved to a different piece of luggage because the ties are one-use only. The space for identification is very small.

My Mom put little yarn ribbons on her luggage so that would be easy to identify on the baggage carousel. Then she laminated a bright orange copy of her business card. Then she put a bumper sticker on the outside of the bag. ...One strategy would be to STOP BUYING BLACK TRAVEL BAGS that look like everyone else's!! An even better strategy (since that one hasn't worked for 20 years) is these hilarious, bright, fun little tags. A great gift to send someone who flies to visit you!

My adult kids travel a lot; my daughter is obsessed with shoes and often their luggage gets lost. These luggage tags made a great holiday gift and both of them were super pleased.

I bought these as gifts for the people in my wedding party (who had almost all flown in from out of town). There was one that fit everyone's personality.

The only concern I have is that the writing surfaces for name/address are small boxes of texture on the smooth plastic surface, and it might be difficult to get all the necessary information in there. The tags seemed sturdy, and are very bright and easy to see.

My 18 year old nephew got a kick out of these. For his bum-around Europe trip, I only wish these had some sort of protective case. They look to be somewhat vulnerable to rough baggage handling; on the other hand, it is a set. A fun way to help with baggage identification.
