You can pretty much tell what you're getting into here, so I can certainly recommend it to someone who already knows they'd enjoy a...well, a tie with toilets on it. I bought it for my boyfriend, who usually only wears ties when I bring him to a work function, so this only seemed fair. No hidden drawbacks--it's a nice quality with a bit of a shine to it, so it can certainly pass at all but the most uptight, un-fun formal functions. (ie I would recommend against wearing it to funerals or job interviews.)

This was a gift for my Grandfather's 83 birthday. He started his own plumbing company in 1945, and he still goes to work every single day. He got such a kick out of showing off his fancy and appropriate new tie! Thank you for once again having the perfect gift. ( I buy Smittens for all newlyweds!)

I bought the tie as a Christmas gift for my brother who is a Federal agent. At first he was thrilled with the basic look and color of the tie - then when I pointed out it was a pattern on commodes - he LOVED it even more and said he would DEFINITELY wear it to work and see if anyone even noticed!

Delivery was prompt, and tie had a lovely band on it stating it was a museum quality artifact and 100% silk.
