I use these bowls for many things besides what they were created for-one bowl type of meals such as rice and beef tips, mac and cheese, soups, chicken and noodles,etc. I love the colors so when they aren't use, I display them on an open shelf, they are cute. Ordered these because I like to eat in front of the TV sometimes when I'm alone... don't we all? My husband and I both love them. They are much bigger than they look in the picture, and fit cozily in your hand. The chopstick holes are maybe gimmicky, but the product is great. Also, some people complained the chopsticks were cheap plastic but mine were bamboo.

My sister gave this to me as a gift and it immediately became my favorite soup bowl. It's also great for mac and cheese and comfort foods in general.
The chopstick holes are a little awkward for drinking broth, but manageable.
When I pulled the plastic chopsticks out of the package, I was somewhat disappointed. They detracted from the quality of the bowl and I would have rather not had any chopsticks included at all, personally. I guess they went to good use, though; they are currently supporting a plant in my office. :)

I'm a freshman in college, and this cup is the perfect size for everything from massive cups of tea and coffee to emergency udon soup and snack needs in the middle of the night. Everything that can be eaten out of the bowl works with this. Not to mention, the color is a really attractive blue (too bad there wasn't a nice purple available) and the design is night. The chopstick holes are a bit awkward, especially when drinking fluids, but you can work around them.
