Bought these a few years ago. Loved them for about a year or so. Then, the color within disappeared. Same thing happened with the thermostat earrings I bought at the same time. No more color within either pair after two years or so.
For the price? These should last a lifetime. Buy and enjoy but know the color will go eventually and then you're left with nothing special at all.
