For any author, writer, or lover of letters, these distinguished sterling silver cufflinks are made from the keys of real vintage typewriters. Pick two of the first letter of a name, or go with two different letters to form initials - either your own or those of someone you love, so you can really wear your heart on your sleeve. Created by designer Ward Wallau. Handmade in the USA and Mexico. Cufflinks are sold individually at $45, or $90 per pair. As the cufflinks are handmade from various typewriters, font, color and style may vary slightly.

The product is great, but watch out for the way it's listed. They are selling cufflinks one at a time, not in sets of two. This makes a pair substantially more expensive, of course. I had to place two orders to have a cufflink for each sleeve. I hope they don't sell pants this way.
UncommonGoods Response: As noted in bold these are sold individually so you can mix and match your own set. If you have any questions about your UncommonGoods order please give us a call at 888-365-0056, and a representative will be happy to help!
Using them as gifts for my Best Men and Groomsmen in my wedding!
Service & Delivery comments:
Wish that they were sold as pairs, too, so that getting gift boxes, etc. wasn't so complicated. I understand selling individually in case people want two different letters, but there should be an option to buy them as a pair.

Notice the headline says silver cuff linkS!!! As tradition every year I buy my father cuff links. Never in the 18 years of this tradition have i ever purchased cuff links separately. I've ALWAYS purchased them AS A PAIR. Never did it cross my mind THAT THEY COULD BE SEPARATE!I payed extra for the gift wrapping and was terribly embarrassed when he opened the box to find one cuff link. Yes, I should have payed more attention. Yes, I should have read the fine print, but who has ever heard of selling them separately. I think this was because they knew not many people would pay [$] for a set of these cuff links. My father has a journalism background, so I thought this would be a great gift. With the other things I had already purchased him the (what I thought was[$]) cuff links where great. The[$] cuff links on the other hand was too much. I could have found him two great sets of cuff links for this price!
My husband loved the uniqueness of these cufflinks, and their vintage appeal. At first when they didn't exactly match each other, I was bummed. But he likes them even more because of that.
I got cufflinks for my fiance: they're antique typewriter keys. I ordered two letter 'a' cufflinks and each one is slightly different (from 2 diff keyboards) but the background on both is black with white letter. The variation makes them that much cooler.
The packaging was really cool and WAY beyond expectation.
I have a pair of these that after someone is sitting in a meeting with you for over an hour, they perk up and say "Those are really cool cufflinks - have not seen them before" Then when I let them know they are "old school meets snappy dresser" using old fashioned typewriter keys, they really appreciate them! Perfect gift for the well-dressed person on your list that is hard to shop for.
I was so happy when I saw the cufflinks! I was nervous, not sure what to expect, and I was so relieved and impressed all at the same time. They are exactly what I was hoping for.

Comments aboutSILVER TYPE KEY CUFFLINKS:
My husband learned to type on a manual typewriter. When I saw these old type keys made into cufflinks I knew it was a perfect gift. He also only wears french cuff shirts. As you can see it was a match made in heaven. He was delighted when he open them for Valentine's day. Also a green gift...we are all about recycling. Thanks [@]
