I bought this necklace as a Christmas gift for my wife and she loves it. It's not only the look of the necklace, but the history behind it. You can't help but wonder whose typewriter a key may have come from, or how old it is. If you're looking for something unique, you've definitely found it in this necklace.

I think it was very hard to tell that this is a typewriter key. It's deeply embedded in the silver, so it loses the typewrite aspect. Also, the clasp on mine doesn't completely close. And my final complaint, since it doesn't look like a typewriter key, I wish there were some kind of little write-up by the artist explaining it. This is a gift and I'm not as excited to give it as I normally would be with an Uncommongoods gift.

This is a birthday gift for a friend of mine. Haven't given it to her yet but, I'm hoping she'll like it based on the fact that we have similar taste. The actual type key looked smaller in person which, isn't a bad thing because it'll look less gaudy. I think I'll purchase this for myself as well since I can pretty much wear it daily.

I gave this product as a gift. She loved it. The key comes in a metal casing, which makes it look less like it came from a typewriter. The casing does protect the key and add weight to the necklace so it doesn't move around. Overall, a good buy.
