Unlike real potatoes, which are quite hardy, these bowls are extremely delicate and must be handled gently. I had purchased a vegetable bowl before, so I knew what to expect as far as delicacy. The picture is a little misleading, however, as it looks like the bowl has both purple and teal, and there was not one bit of teal in my bowl. It is a gift for a friend, and I loved the teal/purple color combination, so I am a little disappointed. There is a also a very small hole, but I understand how this can happen, and it is very inconspicuous.

We put this under a display light to illuminate the great translucent purple potatoes. It looks great! Unfortunately when we got it the bottom was completely broken apart. It didn't matter for the place we put it, and wasn't worth exchanging. I think it's beautiful, but I wouldn't buy it again because this item is just far too fragile!

This product was broken when it arrived. Upon looking at the broken pieces it was clearly made too fragile to ship. The description says it could hold a candle but I don't see how it could hold anything. Please refrain from purchasing this product.
