I absolutely adore this necklace - wanted it for like a year, and finally got it for a gift. I just wish it didn't tarnish so easily and be so hard to remove - that is by far my biggest complaint. Love my Compass!

Loved this necklace! Well, I love the compass pendant, the actual necklace, not so much. I was worried after reading some reviews that my compass would not function properly as a compass, due to size or air bubbles. I am happy to say my compass has no functioning problems! No air bubbles, and it points to what I'm pretty sure is North every time!
The chain is a different story. It is a long, sterling keyring chain essentially. And when I tried to open it the first time, the clasp part that holds the little ball in place totally bent in half.
No matter though, I'll use a different chain. I didn't buy it for the chain. I think the compass was still worth the money for its size, function and quality. I can't wait to get lost in the woods!

I think this neclace is unusual and this is good in my book. Also, the length is just right. But The chain is so much like a cheap item that you would give to a very young child. It is silver and good quality but gives the appearance of something very cheap. I think the price is too high for this look.
