I thought this was a cute radio for my teenagers' bathroom. However, it was difficult to add the batteries, the sound quality is not very good and it is impossible to pick a certain radio station, since it only has a scan button. My kids haven't used it yet, which is a good indicator that it probably doesn't appeal to teenagers!

I still think this is a cool gift (it was for my 4 yr old) but I was confused since the submarine couldn't go underwater. It is meant to just float, or we have it sitting on the bathtub edge. Also, we have a hard time getting a channel of clear music. It might be our thick walled house but an ordinary clock radio gets more channels. He does love it though, as now he has a cool boat playing music in the bathroom.

I bought this for my son to use at bath time. He really likes it and its nice to have some music to listen to while in the tub. Controls on the radio are basic - you can only scan for stations and you have to go back around if you pass one you like.
