I have one of these for my 2yo son, and just purchased again for my newborn daughter. I really like it. Unfortunately it arrived with a broken latch (which normally holds the photo in place in its window). I called the manufacturer to get a replacement part, and they are just sending a whole new box, so I am happy. The damage was inside, not anything to do with uncommon goods, probably. Could have happened anytime after it left the mfr factory.

When I ordered this, I expected real wood, especially for [$]. It is more like a wood painted plastic, or at least it sounds like plastic when you tap on it. The construction is nice and seems to be roomy and well built. I am just not crazy about the finish. I think white and black would be a good choice, not cherry.

i can't wait to give this to my new "niece"!\nit's a very nice piece and it has a lot of extra space to sneak some extra gifts inside. i plan to add a baby blanket that i knitted myself as a finishing touch. \nthe only thing i would like to see in the future is more color options. maybe a blond wood... it would have been nice to find this in black...not that the brown is ugly...but you can't go wrong with black. ;)
