These glasses are hilarious, cute, and, as a particular bonus, the dogs look like fox terriers. They are also your perfect shaped, basic glass. Note: although the manufacturer says to handwash only, I stick them in the dishwasher with no problem whatsoever.

I bought my wife a couple sets of these about six Christmas's ago. They are glass and the one way I have found to break them is to drop one of these against the other in the sink, hitting the bottom of one against the rim of the other. In six years we've broken three of them, in day in/ day out use.
We've put them in the dishwasher since the first month, they hold an entire bottle of beer, make excellent tumblers for the best mojitos, gin and tonics or vodka/ sodas ever, have a wide enough mouth for had washing if that's your thing and are still funny after six years.
Just be careful when hand washing them, they are slick when soapy and wet, and I think we're finally at the point where I need to buy us another set.
