UncommonGoods Jewelry contest

Last June, we ran our first Jewelry Design Challenge, and were blown away by the response. We were so impressed with all of the great work we saw, we couldn't wait to do it again! We're looking for unique pieces and fresh designs that we haven't seen anywhere else. Think earrings, necklaces, cufflinks, watches or bracelets, and whatever else you think will make us say "wow".

Prize: $500 + an UncommonGoods vendor contract.

Runners Up: Guest judges will provide all runners up with a consultation and critique of their work, as well as tips for marketing and growing your business. Additionally, the UncommonGoods buying team will be happy to review your full portfolio in consideration for future work.

Deadline: July 12, 2012 at 11:59 PM ET

Your designs should tell a story... Your art designs should tell a story, be intelligent, and show your creative individuality. We love to see jewelry that is original and uncommon!

What kinds of mediums can I use? We accept all sorts of materials as long as they are safe and animal-friendly -- so no lead, leather, feathers, or pearls. But we love unique materials that tell an interesting story. Don't forget to share that story with us with your product description and with alternate images.

Got a Question? Browse through the rules, or send us an email. If you have trouble with the form, make sure you've filled out your contact info-especially a valid email address!-before you upload your images

erin fergusson

Erin Fergusson
Erin is the Jewelry & Accessories buyer at UncommonGoods. She doesn't believe in living in black and white and loves bright colors and funky patterns. Her favorite jewelry is one-of-a-kind: pieces she found at street fairs, or inherited from her grandmother.

jenn falik

Aaron
Growing up in rural Maine, Aaron Ruff was fascinated with the idea of stumbling upon hidden treasures and unearthing ancient relics. In 2006, he founded the line Digby & Iona to realize these childhood daydreams as jewelry for men and women. As the company evolves into broader landscapes, his roots remain planted in furthering the craftsmanship and adventurous nature, which speaks to the heart of the brand.
